I have been a photographer for more than 12 years, it has become of piece of me, but it does not define me. what does define me is a wonderful grace-filled God that I love, a husband that has been my best friend for over half of my lifetime, my children that I love more than my own life, and my family that I can count on in any battle to come and help. I believe God makes each of us unique, talented, and that our talents are a reflection of His creativity. I believe marriage and life are a journey, full of twists turns and uncharted territory. I believe children are my greatest blessing and find joy in the newest adventure of my life- staying at home with them! I find comfort in the lovely imperfections of my photos, because they are such a true representation of life. Some of my favorite work is flawed, and I wouldn’t change it. I hope you find peace and joy in the pictures you see here, may God be with you on your journey.
“There are far better things ahead, than any we leave behind”
I have often been asked why I left behind a successful business. Simply, because I felt led by God to do so. How? By the longing of my heart and the joy I found when I was there. My husband and I knew this was a far better place for our family than the stresses of managing and running a business. There will be risks, struggles and heartache, I’m sure, but not as great as those had I not left. I believe the safest place to be is where God asks us to be. And so, here I am.
